Amanda Slaughter was a Foreign Policy Alliance intern for Spring 2018. She was a sophomore at the University of St. Thomas in Houston pursuing a degree in International Business, minoring in East Asian Studies and History, and concentrating in Conflict and Diplomacy Studies. She is on the Dean’s List and is the Secretary of the International Studies Society. Amanda participated in the Houston Area Model United Nations and the World Affair Council of Houston from 2012 to 2016, the National Model United Nations in New York City, NY in 2017, and volunteered for the Houston Area Model United Nation as a director in 2018.
